Waterfront activities are always popular at Birchwood. Our 16’ Rave trampoline is a hit; campers play on the trampoline for hours.

Another favorite water activity is the river swing. Just like Tom Sawyer, campers can swing into the river from a rope swing. Almost every camper loves the river swing. A favorite is to cook a bit in the Finnish Sauna then fly off the river swing into the cool water of the Seagull River.

The crown jewel of our water front is the 400’ water slide, ”White Lightning”. Unlike a water park, there is no waiting line, as fast as you can get to the top, you can hurtle down the waterslide. All water activities require life jackets and water shoes. This is one activity that you can NOT earn an award, its just fun.
