THe Birchwood Wilderness Camp Scholarship Foundation

As of 2022. Birchwood Wilderness Camp now operates a 501-C3 nonprofit foundation with the sole purpose of awarding scholarships to campers who otherwise would not be able to attend Birchwood. With a focus on BIPOC and low-income families, we aim to award a handful of scholarships each year. This year, we are raising funds to award ten scholarships throughout the summer.
The BWC Scholarship Foundation is funded by donation from camp families, alumni, current and former staff, individuals, and foundations.

Contributions to our Scholarship Foundation are tax-deductible and 100% of all donations will be applied to providing a camp experience for a deserving child. If you would like to enable a child to spend a summer at Birchwood, then please donate at the link below or via check.

2024 Scholarship ApplicatioN
Through our Scholarship Program, the Birchwood Wilderness Camp Scholarship Foundtaion seeks to offer tuition assistance to campers who otherwise could not afford a session at camp. Campers can apply for a Scholarship for any session, pending availability at the time of acceptance. A child is eligible for Scholarship funds for multiple years, but must reapply for this program each year to be considered along with other applicants.
To be considered for the Scholarship Program, please download the application below. There you will find all of the requirements and details for submitting a complete application. The deadline for Scholarship applications is February 1, 2024. Applications received after this date will be considered only if additional funding is available. Recipients will be notified via email by February 28.
